Retirement & New Appointment

Mrs Linda Kerrigan retired in December. I am sure you would all like to thank her for the dedication and loyalty she has shown to the school for more than two decades. Whilst we all miss her we know she will be enjoying the time with her family. Mrs Isobel Stadele has been successful in replacing Linda in the post of Administrative Assistant. We wish her well. Although we are running the office on reduced staffing we continue to ensure we are manned between 8:30am- 4:00pm. Please email the school office outside these times using email:

 YOUNG SCOT CARD

Young Scot Application forms were issued this week to all pupils aged 11 and over by 11th August 2018. The school will forward a photo of your child with the forms which should be returned to the school office by Friday 9th March.

Thank you!

Thank you for supporting the PTA Dress Down Day on the 19th of January. The pupils generously brought donations for the tombola and hampers — so much so we basically had a confectionary shop!

Can we also thank you for your patience during the recent weather. Whilst we did go beyond the requirements set out by EDC it was challenging for us to manage all aspects associated with the unpredictable weather.

Thank you to our response to our “playing in the snow” snapshot survey. There was overwhelming support for this - just in time for the snowy weather! From the responses received 98% replied        YES to allow pupils to go outside in the snow.
