Hedgehog home

Hedgehog home

In December on a cold and frosty morning a group of intrepid P7 pupils helped Mrs Orr put together the hedgehog home. The desirable hedgehog home had been constructed by a local volunteer AKA Mr Orr using a template from the Hedgehog Society website. Once in place the pupils filled the housing chamber with straw, the lid applied. Next waterproof sheeting was applied and then the whole structure was covered in soil to insulate the home. We hope the home is used and in the spring we will have a look inside and examine the contents to see if there is any evidence of use.
