Our Improvement Priorities for 2024-2025

1. Planning and Tracking with a focus on Literacy and Numeracy.
2. STEAM development of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Maths.
3. Quality Assurance – Moderation, Monitoring and Self-Evaluation.

Our Curriculum

  • We use a play to learn approach creating exciting provocations to stimulate and ignite curiosity in our learners
  • Our environment is adapted to promote independence and self-confidence skills for all learners
  • We listen to children and families’ voices and incorporate these into our provision
  • We provide an inclusive environment supporting all learners to access the curriculum in a way that is individual to them
  • We provide opportunities for learning in both indoor and outdoor spaces using cross curricular links from all 8 curricular areas
  • We support positive relationships with staff, children, families and through robust transition processes the attached primary school.

We are a Rights Respecting EYC and through collaborative working with the PS have achieved our Bronze award.  Children’s rights are embedded into all areas of our practice.
